The Royal Hotel Perth, aka The Royal, was built during the gold rush and first opened its doors in 1882. Located across from Yagan Square on the corner of William and Wellington Streets, the heritage-listed pub was the epicentre of Perth in its heyday. After standing dormant for a number of years, this piece of Perth history has recently undergone a huge transformation to restore it back to its former glory and revive the majestic great dame. With a restaurant and saloon bar on the ground floor and two bars, event space and a north-facing balcony on the first floor, the pub pays homage to its heritage – only this time there’s an emphasis on quality food, great drinks and an elevated pub experience.
The venue’s drinks lists are well-rounded and carefully researched, featuring smart cocktails, curated wine lists and a mix of new craft beers and retro favourites across fourteen draught taps.
The hard stuff
Some time ago, Alex Kirwan from The Royal had heard about us through talking with other hospitality venues. He liked that we could offer, as he put it, “a little bit of everything”. Not only were we able to provide a great range of beverages to supply the restaurant and multiple bars, but we could offer support, industry expertise and an ability to make things work.

Not long after hearing about us, Alex reached out to us to discuss his requirements. Soon, he placed his first order with us and the rest is history. We supply almost all of the venue’s spirits, beer and some wine, via our convenient online ordering portal. Given the pub’s inner-city location, we make sure that our delivery drivers are punctual and flexible in order to accommodate the distinct lack of parking space. We’ve also delivered on-premise training to educate staff on the ins and outs of bar service and products, and we’ve provided menu consultation to assist with refining their wine and beer lists. Our industry knowledge is helpful in offering guidance and a second opinion and our category specialists are always on hand for Alex to speak directly with.
