Gulliver’s Tavern is a popular watering hole situated right in the heart of Kununurra and is about as far away from the city as it gets!
Kununurra is a small but bustling town in the outback of far north-east Western Australia that sees a constant stream of visitors thanks to its secluded swimming holes, spectacular scenery and rich Indigenous history. With scorching temperatures for most of the year, Gullivers is a welcome reprieve for locals and tourists looking for quality pub grub and a refreshing bevvy or two.
Why did the client need our help?
Gulliver’s owner, Darren Spackman, was fed up with suppliers who were struggling to fulfil orders and deliver on time. He needed a supplier who could handle remote deliveries with ease. With problems escalating and staff receiving nothing but hostility when things went awry, Darren was in the market for a new beverage supplier.
What did we do to help?
Darren did his research and talked to other banner group members about his supplier problem. We came highly recommended so it wasn’t long before he picked up the phone to discuss how we could help.
We talked Darren through our convenient and user-friendly ordering process that would assure we’d never miss putting a Gulliver’s order on the truck before it heads up north. For last-minute order changes, we guarantee to go the extra mile to get the product on the truck and sort out the finer details with Darren later.
To ensure a smooth transition between Gulliver’s previous supplier and Liquid Mix, we underwent an extensive 18-month handover to ensure that there would be no problems for Gulliver’s in the future.
How are things now?
Darren and the team are relaxed, knowing that whenever there’s an issue, we will quickly and happily solve it. Nothing is ever too much trouble and we’ll go out of our way to make sure the Tavern and its guests are never left empty-handed. Gulliver’s is a testament to just how far we’ll go – literally – for our clients!
